I have owned this car for nine months and love it. It looks great, drives even better and makes me smile. So they are the good points, who cares about the fuel consumption, the oil fields that it is bleeding dry and the dodgy starting. I bought this car to drive and have fun in nothing more.
Come on Mazda let's increase the bhp and really make me smile.
Have owned car for six months. Very nice car to drive and it is very comfortable. Excellent acceleration when needed, but very poor fuel consumption - I am averaging 18-20 mpg, even driving quite slow does not change the fuel consumption very much. Have had a number of problems with the car. Had a new catalytic convertor after 2 days. The major problem with this car is the starting of the engine. Has broken down 4 times in the last 5 weeks - flooded engine. It seems impossible to stop this happening, and I now dread stating the engine when i go anywhere. Have had Mazda look at it, but no real feedback from them as to why this is happening. Would not buy another one.
I have owned this car for about 8 months now and have to say I'm thinking of changing. Although this is truly a fantastic car to drive it definitely has drawbacks, here are a few: - At the moment this car is too good looking! I'm sick of people staring, although some may enjoy the amount people take notice of this car, eventually it gets annoying... trust me! - The fuel consumption of this beast is terrible. Now if it was a pure sports car, fair enough, but it's not, it's a 4 door coupe - or is it? Thats the problem, this car doesn't know what it is! It has the performance of a sports car but is a 4 door coupe with a big boot! - The cabin, after a few thousand miles will creak and groan from various places, and the dealers don't seem to be able to do anything about. OK, enough of the bad points, it's fantastic to drive and you'll only be disappointed if you find yourself at the petrol station too often! My advice, if you're doing a lot of miles this isn't the car for you.
I have only had this car for a few days, it has replaced a mercedes CLK. I love the way it holds the road. I do an average of 35,000 miles per year, so I think I will be one of the first to take the car through 100,000 miles and will let you know of my experience, ie oil usage, fuel consumption etc. in comparison with the Merc.

I once owned an 04 GT (the version with the stupidly heavy clutch - a built in gym for your left leg). I've driven both editions since and must say…
I bought my TT 2 years ago, second hand (99 model)with 40k on the clock. Since then it has done 40 more. Service costs have been £250 a time. Timing…
