    My car

I have now driven the B170 for two weeks. It's very firm on the road, but has excellent cabin layout and controls. It also has a definite quality feel.

Visibility is excellent, too. I previously drove a BMW 520i, which had a better drive, but there was no space in boot or back seat. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.

    My car

Approx 6 months since I posted my last review, still happy with the Merc; I would buy another one.

I bought a B150 Sport and the only thing I'd change next time is a bigger engine for a bit more fun and 'Umphh'(probably the diesel for better fuel consumption).

My wife loves it and so do the kids, plenty of room, prestige, and people still stop and ask my opinion of it, saying 'thats a nice looking motor'.

...enough said (read my last review,; still stands).

Buy a BMW if you want what everyone else is driving on UK roads, too common.... not for me.

    My car

Yes it is 'fidgerty' on the road, try to avoid the 'sport' suspension, it isn't a sporty car, it dosen't need sports suspension. With the sport's sus. the ground clearance is very low, it ground's over the narrow speed humps. The boot is not wide enough for golf clubs, though it is big. Nice controls, though I can't get a comfortable position without obscuring the dials. I have a deisel automatic (even less reason for the sport suspension)and get around 35 m.p.g around London. Very comfortable inside. Extras will push the price towards £30,000 easily.

    My car

To buy the B-class after three happy years of driving a Mitsubishi 4x4 took a lot of thought. The decision was finally made after driving it - it’s safe.

The combination of the Smart car technology, using an intelligently designed frame to protect the occupants and then adding the Mercedes shock absorber principle of the tilt and slide engine gave me the impression that I am in a safe vehicle.

I was not paid to say all this - I was safe in the 4x4 because of its mass, but now this alternative of a lighter, sporty, fuel-efficient, environmentally friendly option had to be good to convert me, and it has.
