    My car

However, as much as it hurts me to say this, my vectra is a better hadnling car even thought it isnt really a direct comparison in many peoples eyes. i took this car down the back roads for around 20 mins and in comfort mode it is almost useless, in sport it is good enough. i expected more from a c220 with 170 BHP as my vectra is a 1.9 CDTI 150 bhp model and it certainly has better response and ability than the merc.

But in saying all this, even to being such a driver focused individual, i love this car, the smoothness of the ride and even though its not the best handling car it is enough to show people whos the king of the road. during my test drive i over took two cars in one go on a double bendy road, sales person went quite for a little while ;). i love this car and will definetly be getting one asap.

    My car

i bought the palladium silver, sport trim, auto with no other options. gorgeous looking car which attracts so much attention.

i disagree with some reviews that it doesn't look classy enough in the interior. It looks fine to me. I've owned a lexus, bmw and audi prior to this so doesn't stack up too badly.

The true test will be any issues after a few miles under the belt. MPG is not as good as i'd expected but the look of the car and overall performance means i'm more than satisfied.

    My car

Further to my review, I have now overtaken my father's C-Class since I needed something more economical, he's now got my Sedona.

3 months of ownership has been wonderful. Looks very classy - like a Mercedes should, it's loaded with gadgets - which I like, and it has a much lower VED band - more money in my pocket!

My most favourite feature is the optional panoramic glass sunroof. It floods the interior with natrual light and is easy to operate, plus it has blinds to keep out strong sunshine. My route to college takes me on pot-holed roads so it's nice to know the C-Class can eat them up with ease and it drives very smoothly.

Fuel economy has improved since I took over. It now averages 52mpg combined (providing I'm light footed) compared to my dad's 45mpg combined. The C-Class is much quicker and lighter than the vehicle I owned before. Major gripe: It's not as spaicous as my old car. I'm currently eyeing up the Audi A4, since that has more legroom than the C-Class - I have friends piling in occasionally and they complain about leg/knee and foot room. Other than that, brilliant car!

    My car

I have owned this car since June 2008. I went for C350 Sport with almost all options available. Since I live in UAE, it costed £30k on the road. 272 Bhp are more than enough and acceleration is ver reasonable. I have 18" AMG alloys, so 255 tyres at the back provide plenty of grip. AMG suspension is also very good, although those run flat tyres make ride little harder. Steering response is very good. 7 Speed trip tronic gear box is very good with padle shift. SAT NAV is has large screen (7 inch) with built in DVD/CD changer. Panaromic Roof is an option worth having. All in all I would strongly recomend it.
