Comfortable and fun to drive. Arrive after 100 plus miles feeling relaxed... not like many other roadsters!
Driving is a pleasure rather than a bone-shattering experience of some of its competitors.
The solid roof is a great bonus to female drivers.
I have owned an SLK 230 for three years now and it has been a very easy car to own.
The service intervals have always been longer than the published 9000 miles and the service costs (at the main dealer) have been a very pleasant surprise compared to past experience with BMW and Audi.
The only other cost has been two new tyres and one light bulb! The interior works very well with all of the controls kept simple and robust. Never a moment's problem with the roof - it is just so tempting to keep putting it down whatever the weather. Highly recommend this car and will be buying a new one next year.
Cramped, excruciatingly uncomfortable car. Heavy to drive. Ergonomic nightmare. Confused control layout. Every item skins your fingers. Lousy fit and finish. Non-adjustable steering wheel on such an expensive car is unforgivable. Doors drop and don't shut. Electrics dodgy. Avoid!
Order a brochure, find your nearest dealer or book a test drive
Amazing car, once driven, never forgotton, forget all the pretenders like BMW Z4 and Mercedes SLK, they will never have the passion of a Porsche
I love this car! Handling is great, its fun to drive and even reasonably practical!
