    My car

Right, well i've owned this car for a few months now so I think I am now entitled to an opinion. The MG has been a real labour of love, the charm and character that the car has almost makes me forgive all the cars faults - and their has been a few. I initially brought the car because it was advertised with having a new modified head gasket fitted, so thought this should give trouble free motoring, but oh no! On the first day of having her, she wouldn't start - this was easily remedied by stuffing the key full of cardboard, forcing connections and disabling the immobiliser - brilliant! Next to go was the battery and alternator came to £150. Moving forward the next week I woke up to find she had wet her self - coolant all over the drive! £180 for new cambelt and waterpump. Finally, so far the sunroof has leaked once but this was fixed surprising easily by pushing the headlining up - wonder how long that would last. Fuel economy isn't great either. But now the positives - she looks stunning in X-Power Grey with the 16" alloy wheels. The driving experience is nothing short of thrilling from the raspy engine and exhaust note, nice smooth gear change, steering is good but a bit numb for a warm hatchback! Equipment is good despite the review. I have the '+' trim and with the leather steering wheel, electric windows, electric sunroof, electric mirrors, foglights front and rear and of course the half leather seats. Considering I paid £1600 that is comprehensive for a 2003 car.

    My car

Ive had my mg for nearly a year now, its a 54 reg (new shape) and i really like it. there are many things to complain about, but if you can see past these its a great car. for example, when i bought the car the boot kept opening every time the wipers went on intermittent, ( apparently a common problem) it is quite loud when driving along, and because the suspension is so hard it feels like my spine is going to break at any moment. also its a pain that you can only open the boot with the use of the key fob, and the doors lock as soon as you pull away. (anoying if your girlfriend forgets everytime and trys to wrench the handle off!) Apart from those minor details, i love my car, its great around town, its economical, parts and service are reasanoble, and you would be surprised the amount of people that comment about how good it looks.

    My car

I've owned the car for just over a year now. I had it on a 2003 plate in yellow. At first i thought it was brilliant. The suspension was very firm, but went well thro the corners. Was quite good on fuel, but thats the end of the good stuff. A week after buying it the gear box and hot air system both failed. Both covered by warrenty tho. Then my head gaket blew. At the same time it destroyed all 16 valves, timing belt and the water pump. Was very very expensive too fix. My advice to anyone buying one is DON'T! It could be the worse thing you ever do

    My car

mg zr's are not as bad as everybody says they are me personally think there a good little car for a young lad like myself (18) but the insurance is a bit on the high side. i baught my zr about 6 month back and only had 2 problems with it and they are the oil pump and the horn the oil pump wouldnt av really gone but the lad who ad it before me put them stupid dials up which caused the oil pump to get cracked when it was overtightened but is was an easy fix for myself as i am a mechanic. i paid £3150 for mine with 60,000 on the clock with full service history now it has just touched 66,000 but it is a minter i am naw selling it as i am gettin an astra gsi turbo after christmas when am 19 (always wanted 1) i am lettin her go for £2500 its a loss but as u all now these cars dont hold there money well i would recomend 1 of these car 2 eny 1 because of my experience i would buy another only the 160 modle tho hahaha
