The MG ZS is a very underrated car, basically because everyone sees it as a tarted-up Rover 45. It isn't.
The suspension and steering are fantastic, making it a true driver's car - especially in V6 form.
It is very practical with plenty of space and a great boot. Reliability has been reasonable, with the only major problem in three years being the air-con (which needed a new condenser and a valve).
The car is at its best on sweeping A roads. Motorway use is very loud and boomy around the 70mph mark. Mine's in fact quiter at around 75mph!
If buying new, go for the biggest discount you can get as depreciation can be bad.
It can make a good second-hand buy if you choose properly. Avoid boy racers!
