    My car

Well, 21k miles done, 10 months old. 90% of the time great, 10% pants. After the gear linkage debacle last year, settled down and became faultlessly reliable transport; goes where a RAV-4 won't, in the way a Freelander does, with a boot that's bigger than both. Now however the alarm (microwave apparently!? ****) keeps the street awake, but is due to be replaced. Otherwise drives well, is averaging 38 to the gallon, and the Radio/Hard Drive/SatNav continues to elicit "Wow" type comments from 5-50 year olds. But DO NOT accept Michelin tyres in lieu of OE Bridgestone's - will update from a ditch near you soon! Oh, and can someone tell me where and how much can the 170PS upgrade be obtained for...please!

    My car

Picked up a silver metallic Outlander on the 4th Oct with privacy glass . Not much else to add as it has everything you could ever want in a car.

Leather heated seats are a delight on frosty mornings. Getting anything from 37mpg to 44mpg depending on the driving and have covered 6,500 miles.

Engine is nippy above 2000rpm and is quiet and smooth.

Very comfortable and practical and handles like a car. £300.00 for fixed price 3 years servicing is great value. A very enjoyable car to live with and no problems to report. The wife just loves this car.

Ps What a stereo - it has the wow factor !

    My car

I bought my top of range 07 Outlander Elegance in March. I have done a 2500 miles so far so thought I would write my review.

I had a 2005 Kia Sorento XSE before which I still boast about being an excellent all-rounder. The reason I swapped it was because it was two years old and the time was right. I have to say I was looking at another until I saw this. Wow! It was the first car to grab my attention from the kia for around £25,000.

I love this car already. New black leather interior, full screen sat-nav system, and a sporty engine with six-speed box were the main differences I went for, but the fuel economy is just fantastic and saves me £40 a month easily. The Elegance comes with the most kit of course apart from the dissapointing fact that tinted windows only come on a lower-specification model. You need to spend £200 again for those, I'm afraid. Parking sensors would be helpful - another £200.

The six-speed box is great to use, the handling, almost like my 52 Celica but the real buzz is the option to change from a front two-wheel drive to four-wheel drive at any speed.

The one and only fault already hes been that it needed new front wheel bearings as the first ones were not greased! I made the right choice with my money so far, I must say.

    My car

Has anybody who bought a new 2007 model Outlander (before 1st July 2007) been able to purchase the 3 year service plan for £200 which Mitsubishi made available from 1st July 2007 ?

I bought my Outlander in April 2007 and my local dealer attempted to sell the service plan to me a few weeks ago, but Mitsubishi would not allow it as I bought my Outlander before 1st July 2007.
