    My car

I note that I posted the last review back in 2009, I have had the car now for 6 years. Overall it's been very reliable, had a very small problem with an injector leak which was fixed for about £25 at the local garage and had a new seal put in the sunroof as this had a small leak again cost around £100. Other than that its been no problem. Its extremely practical, the back seats fold flat and its then got a huge boot. If you go off road it can go through anything without getting stuck, in deep snow on the road you can use the outside lane on the dual carriageway when everyone else is queuing on the inside lane. I have even towed some other so called 4x4's out of a field when they got stuck. Loads of leg room in the back and can carry 5 people with luggage easily. Bad points are fuel consumption which tends to be around 20mpg locally and possible up to about 28mpg if I take it on a long run. This is mainly down to the fact that the car could do with another gear, it not far from the red line if you do 80mph and will hold 5th gear at 40mph comfortably. the only time the revs have felt right is when its towing and it does this so comfortably that you hardly know you have anything on the back. Road tax is my biggest bug bear, paying £550 a year to the government for the privilege of having the car I think is grossly unfair, especially when some weeks I hardly use it.

    My car

Had the car 6 months now, very unrefined on road, almost jiggery not overly comfortable if you do long journeys, and very low fuel consumption, around 25mph. (Road tax is now £400)Thats the bad points, good points are its spacious and nice to drive around localy due to its high driving position, its also great off road as I use it in a quarry and it copes without problems. Its also quite a good looking car.

    My car

This car is absolutly brilliant. I have had mine for 6 months now and its is the best car i have ever had. On the road it is comfortable enough for my wife and 3 Kids. Took it to Cornwall from Sheffield in the summer and it was excellent. My daughter is into horses and it tows a horse box with 2 horses very easily. The 4 wheel drive is excellent both off road and on road in the snow and ice. This car also looks great and has real presence on the road.

The cabin is basic but well laid out and has everything within easy reach. I have upgraded the stereo as the standard one is not great.

The running costs are on the high side but if it is driven well it is not a pocket buster.

All in all if you are looking for a family car that will going almost anywhere in comfort then a Shogun Sport is definatly worth looking at.
