I bought my Terrano 3.0 ltr over 2.5 years ago when it was 18 months old. I paid £14,000 for it. That was saving of 10,000 on the new price. So heavy depriciation. I bought it because I was posted to Bosnia for 12 months 4 years ago, and I was given a Terrano 2.7 to drive for that year. I found it so good in this testing arena I had to have one. My 3.0 never returns less that 30 mph, which is more than the 2.7. It is fast, very reliable and got lots of equipment. heated leather seats. multi CD. Air con. and seven seater pack as standard. I would genuinely recommend this car and assure you you will not be disapointed. Over the year in Bosnia, I covered 20,000 miles and nothing went wrong.
I have the 2000 model I got it used and It is an ex-mobilety car ! so it's in good nick. It drives like a dream and I uae it for my work and sometimes I can drive 3 hours at a time so I need a comfey car. I heated leather seats are good esp.when you got really cold and need to warm up on the move. the luggage space is vast.and it is equally at home on / off the road my work is in connection with the railways so I sometimes need to drive round fields and down dirt tracks. I can get were most others cant ( even a toyota hi lux on one occation) The only problem I have had with it is a fuel leak that was fixed easely and cheaply. this is a replacement for a Rav 4 and I like it better than my old car .
just got 2000x auto have leak on drivers side footwell anyone else had this problem new door rubber fitted dealer said it was fixed suspect heater matrix, looking for estimate to fix no warranty
I have owned my 2001 terrano for 18 months now and found it to be very reliable, great to drive and fantastic at pulling my caravan. Its good on fuel-30-34 mpg on a run and plenty of room inside and is a good looking 4x4.Its nice to be able to see over cars ahead of you.Service costs are very low, i payed about £300 for a major service and the car was even cleaned, very freindly also. We also find that car park dents are not a problem due to the height and the plastic door proctors.A very easy car to live with and will get another in the future.
