I have a 2000 model, 2.7 TD SE+ five-door model. It's equipped with heated leather seats, CD/tape player. It's very nice to drive, and has good-all round visibility as well.
Inside, there's lots of space, and the boot space is ideal because I have a dog. I haven't used it off-road so I can't comment on this aspect of the car.
It's not too bad on diesel, which is excellent compared to, say, a VW Toureg which I had for a few weeks.
I haven't had any problems with it so far, and I also think it is a nice-looking car.
Overall, I rate this car highly and recommend it. This is the second one I bought - the first one was a Ford Maverick (built by Nissan), which was great as well, but some idiot crashed into it so I ended up getting this one.
It still looks good for its age, I love tanking around in my three-door electric-blue T2. I may be 43 but it makes the 18-year-olds' heads turn!
A smart-looking car with plenty of space and generally a smooth ride. It has great visibility and a real feeling of power.
Alas, the running costs are terrifying. On a 2.7TD with auto transmission, I need a small bank loan each month just to pay for fuel. It's a real shame because I would happily buy another Terrano were it not for a consumption rate of around 20mpg!
A great car, very economical diesel engine, fully loaded, and powerful - I would buy another.
