    My car

I bought a 1.4 1007 in 2005 and I love it and as it has sliding doors, which makes it easy for someone who has arthritis to get into. Can be sluggish going up hills, due to its weight, but the hills where I live are steep. I have had a few problems with the sliding doors but all I do is clean the contacts and the problem is solved. It makes parking really easy as you can get into small spaces. I would recommend this car to anyone.

    My car

I love this car - i bought an 07 reg version in April 08 with 27miles on the clock for £6850 (i call that pretty much brand new). It had been sitting in the forecourt for nearly a year (god knows why because its an absolute bargain).

The shift paddles were a little jumpy at first (but that was just me getting used to it) but now im like an F1 driver. The 1.6 sport engine offers decent power and acceleration when needed and gives a comfortable and laid back ride.

Its definitely a head turner when driving through town (cayman green stands out) and the effortless sliding doors attract alot of attention (the lady's love it). Although the 1007 can guzzle petrol if driven quickly and erratically; on long journeys and general steady driving conditions i have topped 50mpg (which for a 1.6 sport petrol engine is superb).

I have had no problems at all with my 1007 and will be taking it to university which will involve travelling long journeys of pleasure and comfort in my car! If you want to stand out from the crowd then dont hesitate in buying one. The 1007 is a niche product and an icon compared to many of its boring rivals.
