The amount of equipment for such a small car is incredible. The JBL sound system with the GSM colour satellite navigation and 5 disc auto changer make for some impressive kit - the minimal cabin noise twinned with such an excellent sound system make it a pleasure to listen to. The entertainment system is easy to use as well SatNav CD Radio and telephone are voice activated Internally the one criticism would be the boot size Having the option to change interior at the my whim with the Cameleo concept kits also mean I'm unlikely to get bored soon. The 1.4 petrol engines are lacking when this car tackles hills on the open road; however around town it is more than capable and taking motorway in its stride with the cruise control removing effort from driving. This car is not a sports car so don't go throwing it into corners, the roll is not excessive (unlike a certain Mercedes), but the driver needs to appreciate the height and centre of gravity of the vehicle mean it cannot be driven like a GT! People keep looking at it with certain jealousy as the remote car door opens allowing passengers to simply hop in even when both hands are full of shopping. Great when it’s raining. It will always put a smile on the owners face with sheer novelty value and the worry free parking in town with the rear parking sensors. Potential buyers must note that it is not as cheap to run as other cars in its class but price per mile is certainly in the class average
I have this car about 4 months and I'm really disappointed. Two weeks after I bought it the doors opened by their own as it was locked. This happened twice and then the dealer send an e-mail in france where he described the problem.
Two and a half weeks later they said to me that they fixed the problem but yesterday the door didn't close and I had to push it manually. I don't know what to do except that I am really disappointed by my choice. Especially when my dealer says that the car is ok as the door open and close properly when I take it to them.
I really don't know what else I can do. I liked this car a lot before and know I just want to let it go!
This is a 4th car I brought with my wife in mind its unique and I brought it as a novelty at first, I feel as if I caught myself a bargain as I recieved £1850 off the otr + £730 of extras too, the car gets lots of attention wen the doors open via remote from what I have heard and from when I test drove them avoid all petrol engines like the plauge diesels are the one to go for dont expect a ride that youd expect from a luxury car cause its not but i believe they could of made it slightly smoother seeing that this car may appeal to people in the older age category due to the ease of getting in and out. The electric sliding doors make ease of parking it anywhere and getting out anywhere however some of my friends have a habit of using the wing mirror when they leave the car to stablise themselfs why I just dont know? I had the paking sensor option fitted to myne just makes reversing but more relaxing, I do wonder why Peugeot couldnt of made the boot verticaly sliding too????? would of beena nice touch. As for runing costs this car is a dream and gets over double compared to my main family car which is also diesel so very impressive, always test drive this car before contemplating and expect good savings and extras fitted too for no extra cost. Thank-you
I had the unfortunate pleasure of purchasing a new vehicle, at first the vehicle performed very well and then problems started to happen, the exhaust manifold fell off screws had not been tightened properly, warning light telling me the auto gearbox was failing, headlight adjustment did not work, reversing sensors failed, doors would not shut and lock in cold weather. The brakes also locked and when called dealer told to get RAC out. I have been into the dealership so many times, they hide when I appear. The vehicle should have been tested on British Roads before release. I have now part exchanged the vehicle and gone back to a FORD FIESTA and have have lost £4,000 on the deal, so many dealers kept saying theu didn't want the vehicle because of the bad right up and problems with it, the Peugeot dealer did not want anything to do with it either. Glad I got rid before it completely went wrong.
