USED Peugeot 206 Hatchback (98 - 09)

My car

Can't believe i've had to rate this car as a 1 star! It isnt even worth that! This car has been an absolute nightmare, after treating myself to an 02 plate last year i cannot believe how many times i have had it in garage! the exhaust has fallen off 3 times, it has also been mended for blowing 3 times.

Thanks god for the AA who i have called out 4 times that i can remember. This car is the route of all evil and WILL NOT get you from A-B! I have had to have the coil pack changed THREE times!!!! and guess what the catalic converter TWICE aswell as spark plugs and oxygen sensors!

the interior is nothing to boast about and neither is fuel consumption. BORING USELESS Car that may look attractive but LOOKS ARE DECIEVING!

Guess what im sat at home waiting for AA with suspected COIL PACK AGAIN!! my car wont start and i am getting rid ASAP, worst car made! HATE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My car

I have had this car for the past four years. I bought it used and never had any problems.

I have driven all over the country in it. I changed the clutch plate and indicator stalk.

It's cheap to run and insure, and is a great-looking car. It's also a great bargain, especially now that the taxes are going up.

My car

I learned to drive in one of these, so I bought a low mileage 2-year old when I passed my test and have been driving it for 3 years. It has been a disapointing experience. Mechanically it has been sound with good MPG. However, in the first 18 months I had persistent electrical problems resulting in the milo not working and which took the car off the road several times. Also, there was a problem with the drivers seat which meant that it had to be replaced. Just after the warranty expired, I had further electrical problems and the drivers seat had to be replaced again, less than 10K after the last seat was replaced. In about 40000 miles my car has had 4 drivers seat frames, they are sealed units which can't be repaired! I estimate I have spent about £900 I shouldn't have had to spend on a car of this age. I'm often told that I'm the only person they know who has had problems with a 206. I'm changing my car this month, it isn't another Peugeot.

My car

I have had this car for 10 months and have had no problems with the running of it, it has ran smoothly from day one and has been extremely cheap to keep on the road. A very reliable car but like any car its important to do your research on the dealer before buying!!
