    My car

Very good handling if you have decent tyres on it, worth paying the extra for Michelins, Conti's etc. The Pirelli's that come it as standard are grippy but dont last all that long if driving enthusiastically. Cabin feel and comfort is great.

Fuel economy is great on a long run, not so good in town but this is to be expected. Great turbo boost when engine warmed up.

Never had any real issues with it, only one where there was a smell of fuel & a leak onthe driveway. A quick visit to Peugeot sorted the injector seals & DPF Tank out under warranty.

The looks of this car are out & out better looking than any other small hatch on the market even 5 years on. The Panoramic Glass Roof and Half Leather seats just set it out even further.

    My car

This is my aunties' motability vehicle and it's due to be replaced with another one.

It's a lovely small car that has caused no problems what so ever during the 3 years of ownership. My auntie was so happy with the 57 reg 207 that she has put in for a 60 reg 207 since it's a great car, other than the minuscule glove box.

This car has no rattles or squeaks anywhere within the cabin, and is one of very few modern cars that can carry that title. The only other car I've been in that hasn't rattled is the Citroen Xsara Picasso we owned.

My auntie has owned Peugeots for the past 12 years, since 1998 she has owned; Peugeot 106 1.1 zest 3; Peugeot 206 1.1 s 3 door; Peugeot 206 1.1 s 5 door and Peugeot 207 1.4 vti s 5 door. She's had no trouble with any of them.

This new 60 reg Peugeot 207 1.4 vti s 5 door in silver, should cause no trouble, just like the rest of the cars she has owned.

    My car

Had this car for nearly a year now - purchased at a yr and a half old. Very pokey engine for a diesel and is quite quick off the line! I do mainly motorway driving and get around 55mpg at 75-80mph so wery economic. road tax went down to £90 a year since April 2010 so again great when the purse strings are tight!!!

Servicing can be expensive at a main dealer and i'm not convinced they do any better than a local mechanic - i now pay my friend to do it with peugeot parts - its over £100 cheaper!! service every 12k miles or 12 months - mine has to be done every 6 months so can be costly.

Great looking car with a lovely interior - air con is very good and i love the white sporty dials with chrome surrounds - looks like an expensive car but without the price tag. Its actually worth more than what i paid for it....i did get it cheap which shows they do hold their value. Great fun to drive as it is speedy but also very quiet. Heavy doors give the impression its well built...hopefully i wont ever crash to find out!!

I had an ipod connector fitted which shows up the name of the song etc - only £150 to have it fitted an well worth it - has steering wheel controls which is a nice extra.

In all a great car - i have owned a clio a colt and a corsa before but this is definitely my favourite!!!

    My car

I have the car now around 26 months and have a recurrent "depollution system fault" causing SERIOUS POWER LOSS and loud engine noises since February ‘08. These problems have been addressed to Peugeot several times and my car has been in the garage being changed various parts for 8 times already. The last checks & part replacements have been done in December ‘08 by a Peugeot Headquarter technican and I was promised that these problems were finally solved. On January 04, 2009 the engine warning light went on and the "DEPOLLUTION SYSTEM FAULTY" message was indicated and the car lost its power AGAIN. The garage consulted Peugeot AGAIN and Peugeot advised to change another part AGAIN. Having had many applications to Peugeot and Peugeot being incapable of solving them so far, I understood that this problem is related to a production failure, which Peugeot doesn't know how to solve and therefore applying the trial and error method. Doing some research I have come across owners in Turkey having the same problem and now also see similar claims on an international platform, which proves my doubt. Peugeot did not respond in a problem solving and good manner to my applications & claims, instead they tried to detain me with empty promisses until my warranty ran out (December 27, 2008.) Therefore I have now filed suit against Peugeot and looking forward to get rid of the car ASAP.
