I have driven my cousin's 2.0-litre 138bhp CC and I thought it was a great car to drive, apart from the wind noise in the cabin.
I have also test driven the Renault Megane CC and found that there is a lot more wind noise in the cabin, and the interior isn't as nice or as comfortable as the Peugeot.
I am now thinking about buying one for myself - if I do, I will give you an update.
Have had the car for almost 2 months and so far no problems, no leaks (touch wood). Equipment levels very good, would have liked heated, electric driver seat but you can't have everything. Have only done 800 miles so far and the mpg is not great, hopefully it will improve as the engine loosens up. Apart from that it's great.
I aquired the 2.0litre petrol just one year ago and I have had no problems what so ever,It is a good looker with roof up or down, fuel consumption is good for a 2 Litre petrol...27+ to the gallon around town. Reviews say it is heavy but I prefer an heavier car they seem to hold the road better. It is definately a cruiser not a racer but who wants to race a car as nice as this.Servicing at the dealers is expensive but if you use an Independant garage costs can be greatly reduced. I wouldnt hesitate in buying one, highly reccomend the 2.0 petrol
I have recently acquired a Peugeot 2.0 HDi 307CC 136 diesel sport. Before purchasing one new, I was a little apprehensive after seeing a few reviews. However, I went ahead from only good reports from friends who already owned one.
I must say I am very impressed with not only the look, but the fuel consumption, which has been amazing, especialy for a 2.0-litre. It is not a racing car, but has an impressive response in all six gears. It looks good with the top up, but down, it's the business.
I hate to tempt fate but as yet, I recommend the car without doubt.

Amazing car, once driven, never forgotton, forget all the pretenders like BMW Z4 and Mercedes SLK, they will never have the passion of a Porsche
I love this car! Handling is great, its fun to drive and even reasonably practical!
