It might be expensive and, let's face it, pointless but this is the daddy of off roaders!

    You know you want one!

    My car

I bought my Cayenne Turbo new in August 2003 and have done 24,000 miles since then.

Quite simply it's the most complete car I have ever owned. It does everything brilliantly. There's nothing like a Cayenne Turbo.

    My car

I have now clocked up 17,000 miles in my Cayenne S, and what a joy! Great performance with serious practicality has made driving this car a pleasure.

It's a bit like driving a 911 four feet up in the air. Reliability has been faultless with just a couple of clips breaking on the back of the rear seat. The tyres lasted 15,000 miles at the front, which isn't bad for a two ton vehicle.

Fuel consumption, on the other hand, is a miserable 17.5 average, but no worse than a Range Rover. If you're in the market for an SUV, you must give this a try. Preferably back to back with the Range Rover, on some twisty bits. You wouldn't believe the difference. And I've grown to like the styling, it has great presence on the road.

Would I recommend it? Certainly, and the residuals seem to be holding up well.
