    My car

I have had my car for about 18 months and, generally I have found it to be enjoyable and economical motoring. I do 30 miles a day and, while no asphalt scorcher, it will happily cruise at higher speeds for long distances.

The quality of the trim and interior is pretty good and not what I ahve experienced on previous French cars I have owned (two GT Turbos). I find it well built on the whole. However, it is going into the garage tomorrow as it has broken down twice in the last week.

After travelling down the motorway and joining the queue to join the sliproad, there is a fade to a complete lack of power and then it just cuts out completely and takes half an hour to re-start. I would like to know if any other owners have experienced anything similar.

I do like the car but this has left a bitter taste and I have just ordered a Megane Dynamique Sport Hatch.

    My car

Bought this new recently and am very pleased so far. The 1.2 has a lot of grunt and sounds good, even if it has to be worked hard to achieve its best performance.

As for ride, it is quite relaxed for such a small car. It handles well, although it could possibly be a little more fun when pushed hard.

The plastics used feel a little on the cheap side but on the whole I'd say it's well worth what you pay, especially if you can get a good deal, as I did.

    My car

I have the 2.0 182, I've had the car, four months now and have loved every minute of it!

The handling is outstanding, you have to drive it to understand. The only downside is that being 22, the insurance isn't cheap.

    My car

The preformance of the car is suprising, it certainly is a "hot hatch".

The only downside to the car is a noise from the rear discs when you sit in the car. I've had mine back to the main dealer on more than one occasion because of this noise, they tell me it's common with all cars with all round disc brakes. I would like to know how true this is.

Other than that, if you have a heavy foot, you better have deep pockets!
