    My car

I've just recently purchased a 52 reg Initiale with 18,000 miles on the clock for under 5,000. Leather trim, very conftable and firm ride compared to my old VW Polo which I found very bouncy as it was an R reg with 110,000. I am finding the running costs pretty much the same as I drive it occasionally at the higher end of the rev range.

It performs extremely smoothly and the back support on the driver seat is perfect for myself as well as the adjustments on the headrest. The engine idles at the lights as if it wasn't on, I often check the rev counter to make sure it is as it is whisper quite. Also handy to have a full sized spare but I have lost some depth in the boot but increased in length.

Insurance has gone as it would with a larger engine, not the cleanest of 1.6 as it is in group D.

I've bought a quality car with all the extras which was exactly what I was looking for. I will own it until it has had enough and with trade in for another Renault. I've never driving a French car before and I must say I love it.

    My car

I've owned this car for the past three years since I turned 17 as a birthday present and I've got nothing but positive reviews for my little mate. Reliable, nippy and not a single fault in 3 years.

I've probably spent no more than £200 in past three years, changing the alternator once and the front brake discs. Not a single electric fault, engine fault, nothing!! The only thing that worries me is going over 80mph, not that you should!! I only drive a 1.2 but it can be pushed over the its '98mph top speed' as suggested on review sites lol! - or so I've heard! : p

Anyways, what a fantastic first car and it'll be a shame to see it go as I'm p/x it for a 2004 Renault Megane 1.9DCi. I've read a lot of the review bout the Megane on here and it's scared me senseless, nonetheless I love its looks and style!

    My car

This is a fantastic little car. Economy never dips below 58 MPG, and we've even managed 79 MPG before now! It soldiers on for weeks and weeks before it needs filling up, and is great fun when shown a corner, or even flying up the motorway. Great fun! Despite what some people say, this car is really reliable, and nothing has ever gone wrong in the three years we've had it. Although a split rear seat would be handy, we hardly ever carry big loads in the Clio. Plus, it being an 'Extreme 3' special edition, adds some extra French Flair to this extremely cool, reliable and superbly economical car. Va Va Voom.

    My car

I have owned my 182 with the optional Cup Pack for 6 months now and I love it to bits. MPG are good if you are not to heavy on the accelerator, if you are you cant complain for it is very nippy and great fun to drive so you forget about the MPG. The one complaint I have is a small water leak in the boot and can I find it (no) but I can live with it (yes)
