    My car

Had the car since March 08. '08' plate. 6k miles so far. On the Road: Great, feels secure and handles well, you get positive feedback from the car and the brakes are VERY good. Running Costs: Great, would like more MPG ;o) AVG 30miles per day in town traffic and get 38 - 40mpg but I have got 55mpg during a 620mile round trip over 4days. In the Cabin: Basic, but has what you need, electric windows are slow, would be nice for the 'one touch' button option as standard. Very little storage space, just the glove box. Drink holders are not practical. Stereo controls on the steering wheel, this is great! Wish I got A/C now. Car windows steam up when it's raining - Air recirculation control pointing down and this can cause the car to steam up. Took me some time to get used to the car, I'm 6ft 3" and like loads of leg room and I don't have the seat back fully. The 3 kids struggle for room in the back, one still uses a car seat and sits in the middle, leg room and head room fine, but they struggle fastening the seatbelts when in the car. All round cracking car, with fuel prices going through the roof, plus road tax going on emissions I thought it was about time to buy a car on running costs and not the 'wants'. Really pleased, for the mileage I do and what I use it for, it's perfect considering the money and the NCAP rating. Great little family car!

    My car

Bought the Dynamique TCE a couple of months ago and after the initial "running-in" sluggishness, it is now up to scratch and performs very well! It's quiet and the ease at which it gets up to 50/60 mph is good, but needs to be watched in urban areas as the lack of cabin noise and refinement means you don't realise how fast you are going!

I previously had a 1.4si and this car has the same power but is much easier to drive. I noted the comments about the over sensitive steering but have found the steering to be responsive and feels heavier at speed.

The air con is freezing, the seats are comfy and the car feels and drives like a bigger model.

Overall, it's a nice looker in black and a very good purchase.

    My car

I've just returned from Italy where I rented a special edition 'Le Iene'for five days. I drove 800km and the car used less than half a tank.(Half of them on motorways) Very impressive for someone who usually drives petrol cars. I liked the pull of the car in all gears and if I could afford it, the clio would definitely be on my short list. I think I would prefer something slightly smaller and given my relative low annual mileage - 7000 miles- a petrol engine. The cabin was relatively good quality and the A/C worked well. As a point of interest, Diesel is cheaper than petrol in Italy...

    My car

Bought this brand new as a second car in April due to the excellent finance deal on offer, and the car has surpised me. Its a very smooth and quiet ride, and resonably nippy for a 1.2. If you can live without the toys, I cant see a cheaper more comfortable mode of transport out there.
