    My car

I've had this car 18 months now and I still love driving it! I find it nippy and light - generally just fun to drive! However, that doesn't mean there are no problems! It could do with a 6th gear as it can be noisy when running at 5000 rpm doing 80mph. And yes the windows do steam up - even in the summer!! I got the car with Ac as an extra and if I turn this OFF, again the windows steam up! There is not much cabin storage and the door handles are way too far forward! But the thing that really niggles me? I have to take the car to the garage every time a bulb goes! And if the 'cornering light' bulb goes, they won't even touch it unless they have half a day to do it!!!! (thats renualt btw!) MPG is about 34 too! Overall, a good drive but won't be going for another one as the pushchair doesn't fit the boot!

Got this car 04/08. Now done 2000 miles. At first sluggish but now very impressed. Nippy and quiet. Some bad blindspots though would not use as a learner car. Good at speed but sit at 70mph and it sounds rough. Go up to 75mph and its fine.Quiet and relaxed. Average fuel now at 40mpg. If you can live without electric windows/mirrors and air con its a great car. One advantage on a hot day you can leave windows slighty down when parked.

    My car

I bought this Clio as a second car, mainly because of the fantastic finance deal on offer - price reduced to £6200 - no deposit and £99 per month at low APR. Beat that!!

The car has turned out to be excellent, drives well, very comfortable seats and very well equipped for the low cost. Remote locks, good CD player, computer and loads of airbags.

Whats more the local Renault dealer in Ipswich is very good and gave great service.

I always say buy the base model for real VFM and this proves it in spades.

    My car

Yes I know, everyone has given it more but let’s look at the reasons why, firstly why didn't they make the whole series with 6 speed transmission? I have found the 5 speed box wanting in a number of areas. Although the model I have is reported to achieve an average of 62.5 mpg I have not been able to return more than 56 miles per gallon, under normal driving conditions, although my car has only done 1500 miles as yet and it may loosen up. I find the steering very light and vague, the upholstery is, to sat the least basic, the rear speaker covers vibrate quite badly, the drivers door doesn't fit as it was meant to and what pray tell are the interior door handles doing so far forward making the doors nigh on impossible to close without an almighty tug. on the whole all the touchy, feely stuff is quite well presented, soft touch dash, and the small stalks off the steering column are a good design feature, however around the hideous stereo things get all sort of cheap and nasty looking, lets be honest this is not a cheap car all in all as sir always used to write at the bottom of my essays, could do better..
