    My car

Yes I know, everyone has given it more but let’s look at the reasons why, firstly why didn't they make the whole series with 6 speed transmission? I have found the 5 speed box wanting in a number of areas. Although the model I have is reported to achieve an average of 62.5 mpg I have not been able to return more than 56 miles per gallon, under normal driving conditions, although my car has only done 1500 miles as yet and it may loosen up. I find the steering very light and vague, the upholstery is, to sat the least basic, the rear speaker covers vibrate quite badly, the drivers door doesn't fit as it was meant to and what pray tell are the interior door handles doing so far forward making the doors nigh on impossible to close without an almighty tug. on the whole all the touchy, feely stuff is quite well presented, soft touch dash, and the small stalks off the steering column are a good design feature, however around the hideous stereo things get all sort of cheap and nasty looking, lets be honest this is not a cheap car all in all as sir always used to write at the bottom of my essays, could do better..

I got my 197 cup on the 1st of march fantastic car to drive but with the price of fuel now, wish i kept my punto 1.9 sporting just as fast with its turbo, so if you want a quick car and cheep to run and insure get the fiat.

    My car

I've only had this car a week now and I love it! Previous car was a W-plate Peugeot 106 1.1 so a bit of a welcome change. I'm so impressed with this car. It really takes off in the lower gears, the turbo isnt huge but you can feel it kick in, you can really feel the car pull if you drop it down into 2nd gear and give it a bit of wellie. The handling and ride quality are very good, i'm gaining the confidence to really push it in the corners. Equipment levels are very good, I had the tunepoint fitted which works very well with my ipod, only thing this car needs is cruise control for those long motorway journeys. Economy seems very good so far, averaging 34mpg with the usual stop start driving. I would highly recommend this car to anyone looking for a good sized car with good economy. The fact that a lot of the car is made from recycled materials and also that a lot of the car is recyclable at the end of its life is a big thumbs up for me, well done Reanult!
