- 1. The digital speedo is prone to problems and costs a fortune to fix
- 2. The unconventional control layout and centrally mounted digital speedo can take some getting used to
- 3. Safety kit looks a little meagre compared with more modern Renaults, but includes driver and passenger airbags
- 4. Grand Espace is more than 250mm longer than the standard car, improving space for luggage and rear passengers
- 5. Suspension and anti-lock brakes have been known to fail
