A dreadful car, probably my worst ever!
It's not bad to drive, but various things have gone wrong with it.
The car is about to return to the contract hire company on 115,000 miles and now requires numerous repairs.
The car has been heavy on front tyres, with mainly motorway driving ensuring only about 22,000 miles per set, apparently due to a heavy engine.
It is not a bad car to drive - quite comfortable. However, I recommend that anyone thinks twice about buying one.
I have driven the car for the last three years from new. I haven't had any significant problems.
The card key lost its code for no apparent reason on two occassions. This problem was fixed by the AA. I reported it to Renault on the second occassion, who put it down to faulty glow plugs as the cause.
I bought this car second-hand from Renault used cars on a 02 plate 10 months ago.
Since I have had the car, it has been back to the dealer on average once a month with various problems, which means wasted time and money on my part, and it has made me not too happy. But, to top it off, I then have to put up with well below-par service from the dealer, which I would expect from Arthur Daley, not a big car company.
This is my fourth Laguna to date and have to say I love them, they are a decent ride and handling is great too, well equipped the expression is comfortable and a soft ride compared with the dynamic which has a sports feel to it, nice firm ride better at high speeds and bending roads but you fell the bumps due to the 17-inch alloys, I use mine for towing caravan and it does this well. The 1.9 dci 120 bhp six-speed is the one to go for! Wish they did an AWD version.

Had this car for 90k from new. A 56 plate. In over 2,000,000 miles driven this one has broken down the most of any car I have had. DO NOT get a 2.0…
