i bought this car new the only let down is that you cant yet buy rubber mats the car also does not seem to do many miles to the gallon at present im averaging 26miles to the gallon which is about 400miles in a full tank i drove a mondeo from new before the laguna which averaged 420miles and held 1.5 gallons less
While Renault have obviously gone to great lengths to ensure the quality of the interior of this car and rival the best in the buisness, it is a pity that they have not done the same with the drivability. The Laguna's gearing is not very flexible around town, and the car needs a good dose of revs in second gear, particularly at round-abouts where it is slow to react to the accelerator. If you like to drive a car with some enthusiasm, then unless you are out on the open road, this is not much of a drivers car. If however you prefer the comfort of a well appointed vehicle, then there is no reason why you should'nt enjoy the Laguna's top quality cabin and make do with the average drive. Overall, not bad, no niggles, no rattles,so far reliable, and lots of kit to keep you comfortable.
