    My car

I own a Silver 2L and I love it! It did take me a while to get used to driving it as I have never owned a sports car. It handles really well around corners, is really pokey and the fuel consumption is great. I was a bit worried about how much juice she would burn being a 2L but it burns less then by old car which was an old 1.4 banger. I havn't had any problems with it and the electric roof still works very smoothly with no leaks and it is not cold in the winter! The boot is deceptively roomy and the seats really comfy. The only thing that is a bit annoying is there is no storage in the car for things, like your mobile phone (apart from the glove box), but I assume that is because it is a cabriolet and you wouldn't want to leave it there with the roof down.

    My car

This has been my faveourite car ever! I had the yellow 1.6e and i never had a problem(till someone drove into me and it got writtern off!)

Excellent fuel consumption, would last forever, never any faults other then the usual wear and tear.

I felt that the engine was well built and quite nippy when i needed to be.

The body work was solid and there was plenty of room, the boot is large considering that the hood is electric and it needs all its gizmos! The hood worked perfect everytime and lasted well, no signs of wear and never replaced in the 9 years of life! And i used it alot!

The interior was well wearing and easy to clean and maintain.

I throughly enjoyed this car and would definatly buy another.

    My car

Bought a 51 plate, iridescent grey in colour, several months ago for my girlfriend. While it's an older car, I thought it would be a bit more striking than spending the same money on a two-year old punto. Hopefully more saleable too - remains to be seen!

It's a nice looking car and the spec in the Dynamique is very good. 6-CD changer, air con, trip computer. Front seats quite comfortable although rear seating is restrictive. Half-leather interior looks the part from outside the car.

1.6 engine seems more than sufficient. Doesnt feel troubled in overtaking. Pretty nimble round corners although suspension isnt overly tight.

We havent owned a cabriolet before so this remains something of a novelty. Heaters keep open-topped driving very enjoyable even during colder mornings. Fuel consumption is very good - 55/60mpg on motorway journeys. Boot accommodates deceptively large quantities of shopping. Even includes a hatch to fit skis (or rotary drier?) through :)

Ultimate quest is to update to new shape Megane but I think this shape, particularly in the cabriolet is better looking.

Maintenance costs etc remain to be seen. No problems whatsoever in three months. 64k on the clock.
