    My car

BOUGHT IT IN MARCH 08 REG HAD IT TWO WEEKS AND THE LOCKS ON THE DOORS WENT, TOOK A WEEK FOR THE DEALERSHIP TO DO. AFTER THAT THE MAIN INTEREIOR MIRROR FELL OFF WHILE DRIVING, TOOK TWO WEEKS TO DO AS THEY WHERE WAITING FOR A PART FROM FRANCE, AS IT WAS ONLY STUCK ON WITH SUPER GLUE THE FIRST TIME, NOW IT HAS STARTED CREAKING IN THE BACK SOMEWHERE. I WOULD ADVISE NOT TO GET ONE. WORST CAR I HAVE EVER HAD. NICE CAR WITH ROOF OFF BUT WHEN IT IS UP JUST LOOKS LIKE NORMAL FAMILY CAR. SEATS HARD TO WASH

    My car

I lease this car and have had it for about six weeks. This is by far the best car I have had yet, I'm really enjoying driving it and not looking forward to the day I have to give it up! It's true what the reviews say about the handling, it's not s sports car but that's not what this car is all about, it's about driving in comfort whilst enjoying the sun. The dci engine is more than capable of dealing with everyday driving and the 6 speed box is great for motorways. I have averaged about 39.5mpg so far on town mileage and a whoping 63mpg on the motorway. You can get away with this being a family car as it has a huge boot (when the roof is up) and ISOFIX in the rear seats. Adults can sit in the rear with no problems, saying that, i'm only 5'6'' so taller rear passangers would be wize to sit behind the shortest person in the front! I've got the black CC which looks great, only downside is trying to keep it clean! I had pretty high expectations for this car when I ordered it and it has not dissapointed. I have seen that others have had problems with leaks, I've not had this yet, but I guess it's early days. Would I recommend this car? a big YES is the answer to that one.

    My car

This is the 2nd Megane cab I have owned and will be my last as I have had no end of problems. my car is just over 2 years old and I have had it fo rjust over a year. So far it has been back to the dealership over 10 times to try and cure the water leak. The car is like a coulander. It leaks in the front, the boot and also at one point water came in through the dash and soaked the back carpet.

It has had a leak on the air conditioning unit and has also had to have the pulley on the alternater changed and a new cam belt.

Currently the car is still leaking, there are water marks on the passenger seat, the clutch judders and the breaks squeak. On the pus side Evans Halshaw have been fantastic in trying to resolve the issues but I would have thought by now Renault would have replaced the car as a gesture of goodwill. My car has only just done 12k miles. Steer clear and buy a Peuagot CC

    My car

I have owned this car since November 2005.It is good too drive but the 1.6 is very under powered, its ok until you have to go up a hill or overtake, sometimes i have to change down to 2nd gear especially if you get stuck behind a tractor going up hill.I had some problems in the first 12 months i.e.the roof leaked fixed at the third attempt,i had the front seat covers replaced after 6 months frayed badly on the side bolsters. Also the brakes squeeked from day one ,it took renault 13 months to come up with a fix.But i realy love the car.The dealer has been superb throughout. Its comfortable and i feel refreshed at the end of a long journey, much better than my old focus zetec.Equipment levels are great, the only exception is the lack of cruise and climate control, the new model has both.Boot space is very good with the roof up,and not too bad with it down. Not a car to have if you have got a family, i am 6ft 2ins and my seat touches the back seat.Fuel economy is ok ,i get about 34 mpg round town and 42 on a run.Ilove the handbrake lever and the starter button, the auto wipers and headlights are great, the steering wheel audio controls are good too.I would definately buy the same model again, but the 1.9dci.Also the sound system is great with the roof down, and you can have a conversation without shouting.
