    My car

The current Scenic is much better than the previous model that I also owned. Driving experience, interior feel and standard features are all improved.

The 1.6 engine is good and performs well even when mated to the four-speed automatic gearbox. I have some reservations over the long-term durability of the car as there are an awful lot of gadgets with the potential to go wrong.

One or two build-quality issues are apparent but generally the car feels tight and interior feel is very good indeed.

Of all the small MPVs currently on the market, the Scenic is the nicest to sit and travel in.

The optional auto 'box, Xenon lights and Climate pack are worthwhile additions. Optional leather seats with heating are great too.

Just beware, though, this is not a cheap car to start with (so haggle for a big discount) and indulgence in the options list will land you a hefty bill. However, running costs generally are good and service intervals long.

Overall, a highly recommended car which is good to drive and easy to own.
