Umm... what can I say... I have had this car for about 7 months and it has spent about 4 of those months in the garage, maybe I just got the dud.
The car goes very well when it gets going. This car is for anyone who just wants a car to go from point A to point B.
Not the best car but not the worst. Spacious, nippy, average equipment levels, and low running costs, only let down by image and the not so excellent build quality and materials.
Would reccomend this car to anyone, only if they can forgive the cabins poor fixtures and finishings. Rover need to lower the list price by atleast £1000 and improve build quality if this car is to be taken seriously in the talented supermini section. I dread trading it in, as I know I would have lost a packet in depreciation, but isn't that just the same with any new car these days?
The CityRover is pointless because the ride is appalling, the quality is below par, the price is too high and the running costs break the bank.
All in all, Rover should discontinue this car.
One word: joke!
