    My car

Having just purchased this motor I am still adapting to it after my Saab9 000.

To date it is excellent in all areas and is far superioir to my last vehicle in all areas, especially ride and handling, cornering ability etc.

Regarding running costs - I must wait awhile for a more complete picture.

    My car

I have owned my 95 SAAB Aero auto for just over 18 months and this is my second SAAB, my previous being an old shape 93. Both cars are special but the 95 Aero is something else!

It is very fast with awsome acceleration (even in auto spec), suberbly comfortable and very good on fuel. On a recent trip to the Loire Valley with 4 adults and luggage, we managed a staggering 37mpg cruising at 80-85mph.

The Aero is a truly outstanding car and quickly changes from laid-back cruiser to bad-boy bruiser, with enough pace to seriously worry the vast majority of BMWs. I love its laid back, understated image and look forward to many more comfortable, reliable miles. So far I have had no major problems and found my SAAB main dealer first class.

    My car

A fantastic car - huge performance, quality & equipment.

It has very subtle, understated looks too - a real steel fist in a velvet glove. Also, it doesn't draw the wrong kind of attention, unlike many of the German marques I have owned before.

On the latest vesrions, torque steer really isn't too much of a problem even under full bore acceleration (0-60 in 6.5sec is Porsche Boxster territory).

Handling and Steering aren't as precise as BMW certainly, but the comfort of the ride and seats is better than any other car I have ever driven.

A truly outstanding vehicle and one that more people should be aware of. But then, maybe not - it's a pleasure being able to be different from the herd and enjoy such a complete car.
