I have only just bought an Arosa 1.0 S 04-reg in black. Being a girl, mechanics weren't important to me, so I went for the looks! It could have had a box of chocolates instead of the engine and I would have still bought it. I love the stylish interior, and the red lights glowing in the night... beauty!
I test drove two Arosas before buying this one. I also test drove the Ford Ka, Seat Ibiza and VW Polo. The Polo was the best drive but too expensive, and an 02-reg Ka had started to rust already. The Ibiza just didn't feel right for me.
The Arosa is a funky little car with a good driver's position, it's brilliant for nipping around town and is cheap to run. It coped very well on the motorway, although I didn't push it over 80mph as I have only just bought it!
However, there has been a strange creaking or rubbing noise coming from the driver's side above the wheel or around that area. The boot doesn't open, either, and the seals above the doors are coming off, so I will need to fix those before it rains!
Nevertheless it's my car now and I like it, and these things are all forgotten once I get in and put my favourite CD on!
