    My car

I have just bought this car and I think it is excellent.

It looks so much more stylish and sporty than the Golf (which is everywhere). It is just badge snobbery that stops people buying Seat in the UK. It is a VW inside and feels really good quality.

Engine is a cracker and gives excellent fuel consumption which will become more and more important in the years to come. The ride similar to a hot hatch and is hard however it handles really well and corners brilliantly.

I also saved about £1,500 - £2,000 on equivalent Golf.

    My car

This is a real beauty believe me. Dynamic, economical, stylish (a real head turner on the streets in a way that a new Golf is not), smooth - it's all there.

Quality ride and awesome power are matched by some of the most parsimonious MPG rates around.

Always fancied and driven the Peugeot 306 range-was disappointed by the 307 but this car doesn't disappoint - it really is a joy to drive.

Only small gripe is it appears to be smaller than its predecessor and does sometimes feel more like a small rather than mid-sized hatch.
