    My car

I've owned this car for one month now. I sold a Toledo TDi 150 for this and was worried about the loss in power. I needn't have bothered. It's a lot lighter and 99% as fast.

I have to admit that some of the dashboard plastics are a little bit downmarket and my car doesn't have the side airbags option. However it does have the cd atochanger (which is good) and the xenon headlights (which are fantastic).

As for the driving of the car: it is sure-footed, perfectly balanced but still fun and fast enough. As someone else said, you can scare a lot of hot hach owners with the power you have.

Finally a big thumbs up for my local garage, West End Garage Uphall. They've given me brilliant service and I've no complaints.

I wonder how much the 170bhp upgrade is?

I bet that would turn this car into a 'giant slayer'.

    My car

I have owned my vRs for 14 months now. I drive around 15,000 miles with work every year and also have long train and air journeys. Each time I get in the vRs it puts a grin on my face. It scares hot hatches, big four-wheel drives and even the odd Porsche. Just try one! Oh but those light coloured seats... totally impractical!

    My car

I consider myself a very lucky man since i own a Fabia vRS Special Edition, knowing there's only a thousand of them on the roads. It's a great car for great value. It's quite cheap to run, but fast and powerful for a little car. I've only had it for two weeks but I'm already in love with it! "Race blue", as they call it, is a very beautiful colour for the Special Edition. I've just seen pictures of the new Fabia, and to be honest, I prefer the now 'old' one!

If you are thinking about buying one, go for it. Not sure whether there are any special editions left though...
