This is my second subaru impreza turbo and it's a brilliant all rounder.
Dealer service is good if just a bit pricey and parts can be a little bit expensive.
Good road presence with many an admiring glance and a lovely sound when let loose... definitely will buy another one and would recommend one to anyone.
I recently purchased this car about 3 months ago and what a purchase it's been.
I part exchanged my new Mazda RX8 for it, which I might add, I had a nightmare with. Fantastic interior, superb looks, not bad performance and handling but I never knew if it was going to start. It kept flooding and I was not the only one with this prob.
So off to Subaru and I bought this. It's interior is a bit lack lustre but functional and quite solid. The looks I can only describe as brutishly beautiful, my wife hated it until she drove it. What a car. Its handling is awesome and power delivery the same. If your thinking of buying one, go for it, you'll not regret it.
From the outside its not the best looking car, but with an excellant driving position, road handling, and performance, this more than makes up for the dull outside.
I find with normal day to day driving fuel economy not bad (28mpg). Put you foot down and drive hard this soon goes down, but to get power out you have to put something in. If you are after economy buy a diesel, but if you want a car that make driving an absolute pleasure buy a Subaru.
I bought this car recently after upgrading from a Civic Type R! The car to drive, initially, was in truth rather boring - I kept waiting for the 6500rev power surge from the VTEC. For this reason initially I found that the Civic was a nicer car to drive, more like a go-kart!
After a few weeks experimenting with AWD and 310bhp I found that the Subaru was a far superior car - its handling was much better, corners became faster, straights too for that matter!
The car was going great until I needed to buy new breaks (all round at 16,000 miles). This was a a huge shock to the system at a cost of £500!!
As for the cabin, it is a little bland yet comfortable (ergonomically) and all in all I would say buy one!

My late 2010 1.6 CRDI has covered 43,000 miles in just over 18 months. The good. So far the car seems totally reliable. The interior still looks…
I just traded in my beloved 56 plate ST2 and I regret it. All I can say is buy one, the car is fantastic with the best thing being the noise the…
