I have had this car (hatchback) for one week, covered more than 700 miles, and had no problems with it.
Its interior space is fantastic. It has loads of headroom and legroom all round.
The reviews criticise the ride, but I think it is the same as any large car. Although it does suffer from understeer and body roll, it is not as bad as the 54-plate Yaris I also own.
I use this car for motorway commuting. It has enough power, although it can be affected by wind from lorries due to its high sides. The steering, clutch and gearbox (very slick) are all light and prove useful when you are shuffling along in a traffic jam.
All in all, it is a really easy car to drive. It is also very quiet under 4000rpm. I picked mine for £7995 and I think it is a real bargain.
This car has given a year of trouble-free outstanding service, only been back to the dealer for the annual service (mine came with 3 yrs free servicing - thanks Suzuki ).
Very well put together(no rattles or squeaks). Engine is that quiet, only the rev counter gives it away. Excellent economy five stars all round - Would I buy another ? Absolutely
The Liana has gone from strength to strength over the last 18 months and it is an injustice to display technical data not relating to the current model. (A comment on these pages suggests it to be lacking in luggage area, if a 5'4'' female can fit into the boot I would love to see the suitcase that will not!)
The interior is stylish and generously equiped in both base and superior models.
Safety and security obviously receive the dedication they need in this day and age as the Liana benefits from the most up to date technology in order to provide substantial protection for its drivers and passengers.
The new exterior is sleek and curvacious without mirroring the image of a car visiting us from Mars (no names mentioned, Renault!).
I would recomend a Liana to anyone and everyone looking for a reliable, mordern, comfortable car.
