    My car

The Swift is awesome compared to the Honda Jazz. The driving control is perfect and it has a a small turn radius. The only thing bothering me is the audio equipment pre-installed by Clarion and the volume of the boot. Since I'm an audio maniac, I need to look another way to upgrade.

    My car

I have owned this car since October 2005, and although I have enjoyed driving it and its features generally, it has recently developed a number of rattles, particularly from the front doors. I notice that Tom Kettless has had the same issue, and wonder whether he has had it resolved.

    My car

We love this car - it's practical for driving around town, yet is quick enough for motorway driving, too. I have found fuel economy is good, particularly as I use the Swift for commuting daily.

As a woman driver, the Swift suits me perfectly and it's a joy to drive.

In answer to the comments about the de-mister and the windscreen fogging up - you need to read the manual. In cold, foggy weather, you need to run the heater and the air-conditioning together. This very quickly demists the windows with no problems at all.

I have also found the service from Suzuki dealers both before and after purchasing the car to be excellent, with nothing being too much trouble for them.

    My car

Unfortunately needed a new handbrake cable immediately as there was a manufacturing defect on the existing one.

That aside, it is a very tight handling little car. It rides well and looks smart in Kashmir blue with the alloys.

Previously owned a Honda Jazz and while the quality is not to that standard it is still well finished inside with a good level of equipment.

The steering wheel radio control is quite poor in that you cannot move up through your pre-programmed channels but have to go through the channel seek instead.

Having only done just over 1000 miles so far it has been quite thirsty but hopefully that will change as the engine loosens up.
