    My car

WARNING I have owned my Auris since June 2007 from new and it has been back to the garage 4 times since then. Firstly for a new clutch then breaking system twice and now the power steering. Because it is a new model I have had to wait for extended periods of time for the parts and advice on working out what is actually the source of the problems. I am now in discussions with the dealership on returning the car. My advice is to hold off buying this car until all the teeething problems have been sorted out. The parts that went wrong on my car were not even in production at the time of sending the car back to the garage and when they were they were on back order becasue so many people needed them.

    My car

I own this car since 2007 and I have made around 50000 miles. The positive things are the cabin is spacious, the steering, the pedals and the shiftgear are light and easy to use. It has kept its value relatively high. But the car is not reliable as a Toyota should be: a blocked brake gear, problem with the gearshift (I couldn't change to 3rd), the thermoshields were clattering so they had to be fastened once again, and there was a leak from the water pump so it had to be changed. The car is not very refined - it's very tiring on the motorway, the engine is not very powerful and the fuel consumption also could be better (for instance, a VW motor is far more frugal). On a long run the best I have achieved is 54, in the city - 36. I would recommend you if you are looking for a good and reliable car to choose between Qashqai and Hyundai i30.

    My car

I have been driving this car now for a little way. The car is very practical, good size boot, comfortable seats. The auto gearbox can be a little unresponsive at times but the paddleshift makes driving the car fun! All in all a good car that will not go wrong!
