Find me a better car for under £20k!
I have owned this car for 10 months after parting company with an Alfa 156 which, for all its bad press was a good car to drive and for me, to own.
The Celica has pleased me because it's also a car that is fun to drive. Don't get it if you wish for sparkling performance. It is pleasing but you do have to work it quite hard. It is a great handling car and B roads are good fun.
My biggest niggle is that, although the rear seats aren't as plush (What Car? does say this and I don't mind as I'm never in them) you do hear a bit of noise from the boot if you have stuff that rattles.
This is a minor point though, as this is a good car to buy with reasonable insurance and quite a bit of character.
