    My car

This car has been my company car for the pasr four years and I've covered just over 35,000 miles (I know - lightweight !!)

The main attraction was the 'look', it still turns heads where ever I go and it is just as much a 'Blokes' car, as a girls. The other reasons were, the great MPG, low emisions (company car tax, for which the Audi TT was a nightmare) and the joy it is to drive.

It is a general view tha this car is not that quick and I sought of understand that. A few of my collegues drive TDi Golfs, which have a massive surge of power lowdown, as the turbo dimps all the fual in in one limp. However, get the revs up and keep them there on the Celcia and it will keep up with all the best of them.

On the minor and I mean ..minor downside, it is a bit noisy on the motorway and you do feel all that is underneath you, be it through the steering wheel or the seat.

Maintance wise, well, almost faultless. A clip dropped off the fual filler hose and the boot light bulb blew and thats it. As for the engine, it has never missed a beat.

One intereseting point though, as pointed out by a previous reviewer, the alloys a soft and the slightest knock will bend then, I've got throgh two !!

All in all, this is a fantasic car and I will deeply miss it when I change next year.

    My car

My Celica is T-Sport(190) has now gone through 2 engines in 5 weeks. The engine seems to drop a valve and the engine is history. Toyota are now saying that the will not repair under warranty as its happened twice. They asked the garage for a technical report to be sent to them and it was three digital photo's and 2 lines of text stating that the valves had gone DOH !

Whilst I had the car it was great fun to drive but I wil never buy another Toyota as to be honest Toyota are arrogant and useless. On my way to see a solicitor

    My car

I'VE JUST BOUGHT A 02 PLATE 140BHP MIDNIGHT METALIC BLUE WITH THE 17 INCH LOWER PROFILE ALLOYS AND BOOT SPOILER AND IT LOOKS FANTASTIC.IT'S GOT A TRUE SPORTS CAR LOOK ABOUT IT.

THE DRIVE IS EXCELLENT TO.REAL SPORTS CAR FEEL.QUICK GEAR BOX SHIFT.YOU DO HAVE TO DRIVE IT A LITTLE BIT HARDER TO GET THE PERFORMANCE BUT THATS ALL PART OF THE FUN. WITH AIR-CON,SONY CD PLAYER ANTI-LOCK BRAKES,SPORTS SEATS AND GREAT SPORTY LOW DRIVING POSITION THE CABIN IS SUPERB.

I PONDERED OVER BUYING A CELICA FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS AFTER ALWAYS HAVING HONDA'S AND KNOWING WHAT I KNOW NOW.I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT ONE YEARS AGO.

IF YOUR THINKING ABOUT IT.GO FOR IT!

    My car

I'm on my third Celica since September 2002. Each time, it's been the 140 engine. I have never had a problem wiht any one of them. It has a great residual value which is why I traded them in at 18 months.

The last onw I bought in September 2005, a 55-plate car. This was the Celica Red, which is excellent.

Fuel consumption is around 32-36mpg. I have had it up to 110mph - in 6th gear, it's doing just over 5000rpm, and was easily asking for more. It's sluggish in lower gears, but once you get to third, say at 60mph, and throw it into 4th and move upwards quickly, it responds very well. It has great brakes.

I like the interior and the road noise is a nuisance - the sound system is great and the sub-woofer really does work!

I only have one complaint - they have done away with MR2 but won't admit to doing away with the Celica next year - why? What will they replace it with? Buy one - it's great value, fun and looks so cool.
