I have owned this car for almost two years and 30000 miles. Overall it has been excellent. Reliability has been faultless with no faults at all so far. The car is very practical with good rear legroom and a practical shape to the boot, even if it's not the biggest in the class for load space. The 1.6 engine is surprisingly quick for normal driving, but does get a little noisy if pushed hard.
Fuel consumption is average (around 40mpg in mixed driving) but the insurance group is low for a car this size.
I'd recommend the car to anyone looking for a practical and reliable small estate. I'm just surprised there aren't more on the road.
This is my third Corolla, the two previous were Saloons and I have found each of them to be very reliable and excellent value for money.
The next car I purchase will almost certainly be a Toyota as I have been a car owner for almost 50 years and have had a wide variety of different makes but none of them, in my opinion, have been as good as the Toyotas.
