    My car

Punchy acceleration in middle range of gears.Accurate steering. Good fuel economy in urban area and excellent economy on motorway runs.

Firm ride but comfortable on long runs. Good space in both driver and front passenger seat. Adequate glove compartment etc. space.

Limited visibility forward left due to position of rear view mirror and thick pillars. Difficult to reverse due to poor visibility to the rear.

    Rear passenger space limited.

    My car

Overall it's a cracking little car. The Colour Collection offers good quality refinements at a low price. The sliding backseat is great if youre willing to sacrafice space in the back for extra bootspace, the onboard computer is usful and the stereo is excellent.

Fuel economy is excellent, I do alot of m-way driving and usually average 49 mpg. On A roads and in town expect well over 50 mpg.

I ve done just less than 4000 miles and have some encountered problems with the steering, the tracking needs sorting out, it looks like there is also a problem with the shock absorbers and the coolant warning light often shows.

Contacted my local Toyota dealer who didn't seem to want to know about the faults, I'm having to wait nearly 2 weeks to have it checked out.

I would recommend anyone to buy this car, it's easily the best in its class but Toyota's service lets the side down.

    My car

I'm disappointed, having been mildly excited with the whole package before driving one. The gearchange was rough and noisy and I agree there is excessive road and engine noise on the motorway.

Nevertheless, I will have another test drive as the dealer offered a good package.

    My car

I have recently cut back and sold my Lexus to buy a D-4D Yaris T3. They are two very different cars, without a doubt, but I really enjoy driving the Yaris more on my day-to-day travels.

It has bags of torque, firm and comfortable seats, and plenty of space. My children report more space in the back than the Lexus.

But best of all, I am getting about 600 miles per tank of diesel which is roughly 60mpg. And I don't hang about.
