    My car

Smooth, quiet drive. Clutch length is small which is good. Nice dashboard. Good amount of space for driver and primary passenger.

    My car

I have owned the GS since new, 4 years, I have travelled 70000 miles, I have had no problems at all with this vehicle, it has done everything I could ask of it. It can be a bit noisy, but reliablity and econmically it is excellent. The gearbox needs to be used to enable faster accelleration but I appreciate that it is a 1 litre engine.

    My car

I chose this car primarily for fuel economy, reliability and practicality.

Fuel economy is superb; I reckon on getting pretty close to the official combined mpg of 64. So far, I have covered 34,000 miles in 15 months.

Reliability has been good, too; the only problem to date has been the 'engine malfunction' light illuminating (under hard acceleration). This occured at around 34000 miles. After 12 hours or so, the light goes out, with no other symptom. I will be taking it to the dealer in the next few days to check this out.

Practicality is good for this class of car. Stowage space in the cabin is excellent, and the sliding rear seat is very useful indeed. When pushed right back, there is a remarkable amount of rear passenger room. Of course, it is a choice of lots of passenger room or boot space, but not both.

Performance of this car is surprisingly good; the D-4D engine supplies plenty of shove for overtaking or joining a motorway. All at low revs (2000-3000), thanks to the impressive torque of the intercooled, turbocharged engine.

Equipment on the T-Spirit is impressive, with CD player, air-con, ABS, and four airbags, plus a sunroof.

The only quibble I have is with the stereo radio (with steering wheel controls). Occasionally, the FM radio seems to 'drift' and there is interference - hardly significant.

Overall, I would highly recommend this car.
