This car is practical - it's small yet makes good use of the space. The back seats slide forward to expand the boot, and slide back if you have taller back seat passengers. And it's simple to slide the seats. There are plenty of compartments up front to put all your paraphenalia.
The running costs are very low. Servicing is cheap and since I'm not an aggressive driver, I usually get about 50-60mpg even on urban roads, even more on motorways.
The drive around town is ok, as long as you take corners carefully, as the body roll is significant due to the high driving position. It's not well insulated against bumps and road noise either, but it's acceptable. Motorway driving is restricted to the slow lane, and any uphill parts will take you down to speeds of around 50-60mph max. That's the worse part about the car with a 1.0L engine, you get overtaken by large lorries and fear for your life as the car sways from the drag.
If you want a small practical, good looking car for urban journeys, and you're not after a boy-racer type, this cars not bad, and after 5 months with it, I'm quite happy with it.
I have this car as a courtesy car as my own was smashed by an idiot running into my back and have now done 500 miles. I'll be positive first,…
Just sold my Panda after 5 years of trouble free driving,I only got rid of it because a slightly bigger car was needed. I would be happy to…
