    My car

    Driver's seat height not adjustable & high, so a 5ft8in driver gets buffeted by the wind with the roof down. The sun-visor is too low. Alarm horn - I've had 2 faulty in 2 years - diagnostics on the 1st also failed to accept a problem initially ... not popular with neighbours, especially as horn cannot be deactivated.

    A solid car with plenty of go, quiet with the roof up, and the handling remains excellent with the top down.

    My car

    I have test driven this car today and LOVED it. I am probably going to buy one. It is a very quiet engine, white dials easy to see, easy to drive.

    Loved the soft-top operation and plenty of room in the boot even with top down. Liked steel head rests and strong windscreen frame in case of rolling (unlikely). I also liked full-size spare wheel (not stupid small ones we are now afflicted with).

    Can't say about running costs yet but insurance group 9 must be an improvement on my present Xsara VTS. I certainly recommend it and I think it is ACE.
