    My car

Having bought first corsa last march 56'reg found it had major electric faults after only 1month, would simply cut out after refueling.Once on busy road doing 60!After much hassle of trying to solve issue with dealer with no avail, contacted trading standards this seemed to alter things resulting in change of car.new car now 07 reg works fine only today had battery fault again dealership of no help, thank godness for quality LOCAL garage who offered help!simple problem - BATTERY WAS LOOSE!!!Apart from vauxhall themselves being useless!overall the car looks great, road handling and general feel of car when driving is not good, feels almost like your driving an old banger sometimes - feel every bump!I agree with previous comments about windscreen angle is ridiculous and front bars can prove a blind spot when dealing with roundabouts as they are ridculously over sized! Its safety features are top notch not that (touch wood) had to use them yet but it seems to ooze air bags! Boot space is sufficient. Not so great on petrol though!!

    My car

Hi,bought my car April 2008, love the car inside and out, had a few problems so been in the garage about four times in eight months. My gripe is the fuel economy its very poor, 1.2 engine and 33mpg!!! Vauxhall give lip service to the problem but not realy interested. Anybody else having this problem?

    My car

I have owned Novas and Corsas since I passed my test but this will be my last. Having come from an 04 1.2 Corsa Life this is a real let down. The change in angle of the windscreen and the elongation of the dashboard to where a gorilla couldn't reach the windscreen is a complete design flaw to my mind. The slope and shape of the bonnet is such that I park a mile away from anything in front of me as I can't see where the front of the car is (I am 5'8" so not tiny!). The rear heated window has wires that don't heat up and the radio doesn't come on when the engine turns on even if I left it in the on position when I turned the engine off! The cornering is heavy - so much for SXI power steering. I have only done half my usual mileage as I hate driving this car.

    My car

I have owned this car from new and after only 3 months and covering less than 3000 miles, the front brake pads need replacing due to what the main dealer described as a 'inherant fault'! Also water has got into the rear brake drums causing them to seize on overnight. The car also seems to 'wander' around at motorway speeds and it's quite a choppy ride, only get about 300 miles from a tank full of petrol. On the plus side, the build quality is up to scratch and the Vauxhall dealer (Underwoods)service is excellent.
