I have owned the car from 20,000 miles to the current mileage of 72,000. I bought it for under £10,000 at two years old.
There have been no major problems with the possible exception of the the oil/water intercooler requiring replacement at 70,000 miles. The 40,000 mile service is costly as the timing belt and pulleys require replacement, which I had done at a non-frachised garage, which was OK once the correct parts were fitted.
Apart from that I have only had to put petrol in, clean it and buy tyres.
The boot size means that a roofbox is unnecessary and makes family holidays easy.
Petrol consumption averages 28.4 mpg according to the computer, at an average speed of 44mph.
As it's a heavy car the tyres don't last too long, approx 20,000 per tyre front or back, and they seem to go out of balance quite quickly.
It cruises very quietly on the motorway (when the wheels are balanced).
In summary, it's been a problem-free car so far but, probably time for something new.
