I recently purchased this car from a dealer, I am very pleased with all aspects of the car and it definitely was worth my four-month wait.
I payed extra for 17" alloys, air-con, metallic paint and leather pack, which I feel compliments the cars fantastic exterior looks. Only negative is that there is no spare wheel supplied with the 17" alloys and the dash is very similar to the Corsa SXi.
Would definitely recommend paying the extra for the sport edition and extras.
I purchased this car a week ago and so far am very impressed with it.
It is very smooth to drive and comfortable, handling is very good and the car holds the road well, especially cornering. The roof mechanism is very easy to use and quick and even with the roof down there is still ample storage space.
As there are so few about the number of people staring at the car is amazing, I nearly had 2 cars drive into me when I picked the car up because the drivers were too busy looking at my car!
Running costs appear very good. Despite what has been reported there IS a spare wheel. The only thing that lets the car down is the quality of the interior, although it is adequate.
The roof makes this an all year round car, so if you want a good convertable but without the hassle of a material roof and manually putting it up/down then go for the Tigra!
I've recently bought this car from a dealer. After many hours searching the web to find the best price and reading the last issue of What Car?, I went into the dealer with the print out to see if he would match.
To my amazment, he got within £250, which got me the 1.4 16v Tigra Sport with metalic paint, and the 17-inch alloys, for £14,350. Cheers What Car?.
Overall, the car's great to drive, if a bit fun to park due to not seeing a lot behind you. It's very practical, with lots of room everywhere and great on petrol. A must to buy if you're looking for this type of car.
Order a brochure, find your nearest dealer or book a test drive
Amazing car, once driven, never forgotton, forget all the pretenders like BMW Z4 and Mercedes SLK, they will never have the passion of a Porsche
I love this car! Handling is great, its fun to drive and even reasonably practical!
