Yes a lovely sporty looking Car, (but a corsa in disguise. Problems with the Electrics; had dash board lights pack up, several years later passanger window not working, then several months later sunroof packed up. I look after my car well its about 8 years old and had welding done over the last two years under the car. Will never touch this car again!!! Just saving up for a different car as it will be worthless. This was the worst vauxhall I have ever had, the astra was great.
I have owned my Vauxhall Tigra 1.6 (1996) for 3 years and have loved every drive i have taken in it ! firstly for a small car there is a great deal of stability and they handle the road great. Very nippy and generally a fun car to drive. The standard interior is rather roomy (in the front) and although it is now quite an old car looks tidy and modern. the back seats however are quite cramped and although two seats are there fitting anyone with a little height is quite tricky ! ! ! the boot space is surprisingly large and the back seats drop down for extra space, id recommend treating this car as a two seater though.
I had the cam belt changed at 50,000 miles and apart from tyres and exhaust emmisions which were reasonable to repair i have had no problems at all. I would heartily recommend this car and they can now be picked up very cheaply and as vauxhall is a major dealer any parts needed should be easily obtained !
