I've had many problems with the electrics, and the car feels unstable in corners.
The car is only two years old, yet it has many squeaks and rattles from the dashboard.
Dealers are not very helpful, and never explain the faults.
Had the car for two months, bought 14 months old and with 7,500 on the clock for £12,150. Fully loaded with SAT NAV and everything I need. It is an incredible piece of kit for the money. Yes, the 1.9 is slightly more economical, but it's not quite as quick and the refinement and smoothness of the V6 is a no contest. Can't fault is so far. Only critism is whilst you get leather and all the toys, the Sri wheels are much prettier.
I have just changed form a Laguna 2.2 dci to the Vectra 1.9cdti sri 150 auto its great, the fuel consumption is great 50mpg on a tank doing 600 miles, the Laguna just about managed 35mpg, it drives superb, inside you can't here the engine even though its a diesel and it rides well, sports suspension 17inch alloys chrome trim, it has loads of boot space. The only drawback is no electric windows in the rear. If you are thinking of changing your car look at the Vectra loads of car for not much money.
i have just read gerard kellys review of his vectra i have had to replace 1 front& 1 rear coil spring in the last 4 weeks my car has only done 40000mls
