    My car

The car has been very good untill now. It has had turbo failure at 200k Miles. I am getting a new turbo fited. The car has never let me down other than that. It has also had a bad accident last year and had it fixed with lots to the front left side. The car was running strong untill then but It will be running stong again once I get this turbo fited.

    My car

I bought a X plated vectra sri 150. Whilst it was resonably quick, the fuel it drank was a real problem- many a plastic part also fell off i.e plastic around the bottom of the seats, bits inside the boot, various other niggles. started to drink lots of oil, thats when i found out the piston rings had let go and it had only done 70,000 miles!! not the most relible either, would not have another to expensive to run and the after sales at vauxhall not as good as other major manufactures. that said there must be some good ones??

    My car

I have the "Dual Fuel" Gas/Petrol version as a company car. As a rep car its poor. The gas tank is under the boot, so the spare wheel has to go in the boot, limiting its capacity. I never use the gas, as the re-filling is a nightmare and complicated. My main irritaion with the Vectra is the indicator stalk. It dosen't stay on! It springs back into position when you push it up/down. Ive found it very dangerous, as the indicators often turn themselves off when stationary, before turning. Basic "Corsa" radio and cd is poor, and no interior light in the back. Poor service as well at Vauxhall dealers. Wont be getting a Vauxhall again!

    My car

I have owned Vauxhalls ever since I have been able to drive and find them extremley reliable and cost effective.

I know that they get a lot of bad press for being dull but after having three Cavaliers and two Vectras, I'm not buying them for the 'drive of my life'!

My Vectra is a 2.5 V6 (W) plate - it has just hit 155,000 miles and without any real problems. The build quality is fantastic: yes, there are a few squeaks and rattles but what do people expect from a car these days?

The only thing that has ever shocked me in the ownership was when one of my Xenon bulbs went. Vauxhall quoted £175 for just the one bulb! After checking the tinternet I managed to get a pair for just £65.

The boot is huge and according to my mother-in-law, comfortable on long journeys. You can get almost anything in and although it is a saloon, when the seats are folded double beds get swallowed whole.

The sports seats on my SRi are extremely comfortable, supportive and seem to be very easy to keep clean. Those with young children will know what I mean.

The car is excellent on motorways as you would expect but even around town the drive is smooth and comfortable. The performance is fantastic but if you do use it for this purpose then the fuel costs will annoy you.

Tyre wear can be an issue, as with most Vauxhalls, but other than that I love my Vectra and will definitely buy another.
