    My car

It's heavy and it's large and it's ugly and it's dodgy. Did i mention it's heavy? This is the (WORST) car I have ever owned.

    My car

I love this car. I have had Mercedes and BMWs, and this is a class above tha ones I've had. I'm told the older Mercedes used to have this sort of quality.

The car is really spacious. It has a superb interior, great ride and is quite fast enough for me (mine is the V6 TDI). The price is very good and it is the first car I think I will buy when the lease is up.

The exterior is uninspiring, but is better than those two ugly ducklings, the 7 Series and new S class.

I though this was going to be an anonymous, low-key car, but I've had more interest and unprompted response than any car I've ever owned. I rather like not having seen another on the road in six months.

If the badge tarts don't consider it, it is their loss. This is a five-star car.

    My car

    It's a brilliant car.

I brought it for £80,000 pounds a few months ago brand new 05 plate i've done 1,000 miles and it''s now worth a staggering £42,000. How ridiculous is that?

    My car

Having driven the 3.0 V6 TDi for over 15,000 miles in the last 6 months, I have been absolutely delighted with the car.

Smooth, quiet and refined with every imaginable accessory. With an average of 33 mpg, even the running costs are not excessive.

Despite the size, the engine offers good performance and the car is surprisingly manoeverable.

Irritations are minor - poor SatNav system. Average audio system. Manual totally incomprehensible. It hasn't needed a service yet, so I haven't tested the dealers yet.

Acres of internal space make this a very comfortable family car. It may not have the snob value of a mercedes, but everyone who has travelled in it has been tottally impressed.

Thoroughly recommended for anyone who doesn't need a badge to show their status (but make sure you get a good deal as the depreciation is vertiginous).

    Overall - 9/10
