    My car

    This is a good car to drive, with excellent economy and performance from the diesel engine.

    This was our first ever VW, and we have had it from new. The VW dealer is just down the road, which is so very convenient. However, the combination of poor quality, dismal reliability and expensive servicing (watch out for the cost of the special oil!) has left us utterly dissatisfied with VW.

    As a result, when we downsized recently, we ignored the obvious choices (VW Touran or Golf Plus) and went for the Renault Scenic - which is so much better in every respect!

    VW has lost its way, and have certainly lost our custom.

    my opinion of this car is: not very good insurance grouping was expecting better mpg poor interior
